A. Beginning Ukulele and Intro to Guitar (10 weeks)
Course Description
Session Starting 10/17/2022 Monday
This 10-week course will provide a gateway to music through the ukulele and the beginning stages of guitar playing. Students will learn about different elements of music including rhythm, harmony, melody, improvisation, collaboration, and music theory, while focusing on bringing these elements to life on different instruments. From the first class, students will start strumming chords and plucking melodies on the ukulele, and by the end of the semester they will see how these concepts transfer over to the guitar.
Students are required to have their own Ukulele for class and practice at home.
Monday 4-4:45p.m. (Age 6-10)
Monday 5-5:45p.m. (Age 11-17)
Monday 6-6:45p.m. (Age 18 + and adults)
Tuition*: $195 /Session (Early bird before 9/30/2022), $225
2022-2023 Ensemble Scholarship (100% Tuition Free)
