July 13-17
9a.m.-4p.m.
Fee $365 (Early Bird 4/10/2020), $415, all materials included. Student are expected to bring their nut-free snack and lunch everyday.
Space: A maximum of 6 students ONLY
Faculty: Ellyses Kuan, piano & guest lecturers
This camp is designed for late elementary / early intermediate piano students (A minimum of 18 months private piano experience, or minimum RCM Level 2 ) who has elementary music reading knowledge identifying pitch and rhythms.
Performance Instruction: Student will learn how to interpret and understand score through music analysis and hands on technique demonstration.
Guided Practice Time: Students will be given guided practice time to learn how they can have fun practice along while being productive!
Sight-Reading Skills: Student will learn how to sight-read music to expand their repertoire list.
Musicianship Skills: Students will learn about music appreciation, music theory and engage in aural skills.
Student Collaboration: Pianists will be partnered together work on duet/trio repertoires.
Performance Video Production: Students will learn how to prepare, self-document and present their own performance in video format.
Final Performance: There will be daily performing group class but the final performance will be July 17, 3-4p.m. Parents are welcome to attend the final performance.
July 20-24

Space: 8-12 students ONLY
Faculty: Timothy Ayres-Kerr, Voice & Ellyses Kuan, Piano.
This camp is designed for students who love singing , have basic music reading knowledge and enjoying working in a groups as well as Intermediate Pianists (At least a minimum of 4 years of private piano lesson experience) or above who would like to learn about accompanying techniques and working collaboratively.
Performance Skills
Student will learn how to prepare and perform a wide variety of group and solo repertoire!
Activity Based Instruction
Music History, Musicianship, Sight-Reading, and more taught through engaging group activities!
Student Collaboration
Pianist and Singers will be partnered together and encouraged to take risks and engage with their music by thinking creatively!
Guided Practice Time
Students will be given guided practice time to learn how they can have fun while being productive!
