We are excited to welcome classical guitarist Dr. Ben Lougheed for a special masterclass this Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 3:30–5:00 p.m., as part of the EKS Music School 2024–2025 Masterclass Series!
Dr. Lougheed is celebrated for his “beautifully polished, passionate, and engaging performances,” and has been called “an emerging force in the classical guitar world.” With a dynamic career as a performer, educator, and music entrepreneur, he brings a wealth of experience and insight to his teaching. He currently teaches at Temple Music Preparatory and has performed across the U.S. for prestigious concert series including Guitar Sarasota and Utah Classical Guitar.
The masterclass will be hosted in-person at EKS Music School for participating guitarists and streamed live over Zoom for all students and families to observe. Selected guitar students will perform and receive personalized coaching from Dr. Lougheed. Whether you’re a guitarist, music student, or curious listener, you’ll find inspiration and valuable knowledge in this engaging session.
