We are thrilled to celebrate Samantha Wong, one of our graduating seniors who has been part of the EKS Music School community for the past seven years. Samantha began her piano journey at the age of six and later continued her musical development at EKS, where she explored repertoire from various composers and musical eras.
Over the years, Samantha has grown into a thoughtful, expressive musician with a deep appreciation for music’s power to communicate and connect. She credits her instructors at EKS (Dr. Ines Andrades & Music Director Ms. Ellyses Kuan) for nurturing not only her technical skill, but also her ability to express herself confidently through music.
In addition to her musical achievements, Samantha is also a passionate leader in the performing arts. As president and stage manager of her high school drama club, she has directed productions with precision and creativity. Her experience in piano and music theory helped her develop a strong sense of timing, attention to detail, and the confidence to lead—skills she brings to every stage she steps on, whether as a musician or behind the scenes.
This fall, Samantha will begin her next chapter at Northeastern University through the NU.in Program, majoring in Computer Science and Design. While music may not be her academic focus, she looks forward to continuing her musical journey in new and meaningful ways.
