It is the responsibility of each student to be punctual to his or her lessons.  Since faculty members reserve a weekly teaching slot for each student, they are not required to make up lessons missed due to student absence.

One lesson per semester may be made up if the teacher or the school receives a notice at least 6 hours ahead of time and if a time should become available during the teacher’s regularly scheduled hours. We will make up for up to two classes if classes are cancelled due to inclement weather.

There will be no make up lessons for any group class due to student absence.

Make-up classes will usually be scheduled during the week of Winter break, February or April vacation break or according to teacher’s and school availability during the school year. EKS Music School reserves the right to assign substitute teachers for make-up class under certain circumstances.

Another alternate option for makeup class will be to sign up for studio performance class, which is free and open to all students on a first come, first served basis. (See below for more information.
