Group Class 2025 – 2026
Experience the benefits of learning music in a group setting at EKS Music School! Our group classes, designed for beginners, offer a welcoming environment where students can explore instruments or voice with peers. With class sizes of 3 to 8 participants, students receive personalized attention while enjoying the camaraderie of group learning. We primarily cater to children, but also offer adult piano group classes. Group lessons are a cost-effective alternative to private sessions, providing an affordable way to begin your musical journey. Join us to learn, grow, and share the joy of music together!
Program Duration: October 2025 – May 2026 (unless otherwise noted)
Class Size: Small group format (3–6 students unless specified)
Tuition: $95/month (unless otherwise indicated)
Materials: Most classes require a textbook (~$25 per student)
Please Note: Students should enroll in one class time per program (e.g., one piano class, one voice class, etc.). The multiple time options listed are to help you choose the schedule that works best for your family.
Piano Safari Group Class for Beginners
Our group piano classes offer the perfect introduction for young beginners. Using the Piano Safari method by Dr. Julie Knerr and Katherine Fisher, students gain a solid foundation through a creative, intervallic approach that combines listening, sight-reading, improvisation, and performance.
👶 Piano Safari with Parents (Ages 4–6)
A fun, hands-on class for young children and their caregiver. Activities include rhythm games, movement, singing, and early keyboard exploration.
👥 One parent is required to attend with the child.

🎼 Children’s Piano Group Classes
Designed for school-age beginners, these engaging classes focus on strong technique, note-reading, and musical expression in a supportive group environment.

🗓️ Saturdays, 4:15–5:00 p.m. – Ages 5–8

Voice Group Class
Perfect for budding vocalists! Students explore healthy vocal technique, musical games, and songs from different genres and languages while building confidence and expression.
