Job Positions

Teaching Position (Part-time):

  • Piano Instructors (Private and Group Lessons)
  • Multi-Instrumentalist Instructors (Private and Group Lessons)
  • Substitute Teachers

Administrative Position (Part-time)

  • Social Media Intern


Teaching Position

  • Bachelors degree with emphasis in Music Pedagogy or Performance or show significant progress towards a completed graduate degree in either Pedagogy or Performance. 
  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a community music school
  • Competitive Hourly rate commensurate with qualification and experience

Administrative Position 

  • Associated Diploma or show significant progress towards a complete undergraduate degree in Communications , Marketing or related business fields.
  • related field 2+ years’ experience in social media/marketing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Google+Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop
  • Basic knowledge of Graphic Designs
  • Internship position receives a stipend for compensation


  • Strong sense of ethics working in a team environment
  • Candidate must be affectionate, reliable, punctual, patient, positive, dedicated and commited to the students and the school.
  • Candidate must be able to work for EKS Music School for a minimum of one full academic year for teaching posiiton and 6 months for internship position
  • Candidate must be open to teach in a group class setting (Teaching Position)
  • Candidate with understanding and experience of the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) curriculum preferred (Teaching position)
  • Candidate with a car preferred
  • Candidate must have a valid working permit in US
